Pastor Willie Peterson, Jr., along with his wife Callie Peterson, leads The Legacy Church in Las Colinas, Texas. Willie, Jr. is a talented and Godly man who, like his father, is a prolific speaker; and like his mother is a gifted soloist. In 2011 Willie, Jr. earned a Biblical Counseling Certificate from Southwest Theological Seminary and immediately started Marriage Works, a counseling ministry. Marriage Works offers Biblical marriage counseling, a six week pre-marriage counseling class, a couples’ accountability program and is a provider with the state of Texas Together in  Texas program.

Prior to starting The Legacy Church (affectionately known as The LC) Willie, Jr. and Callie, led the college ministry at Morse Street Baptist Church in Denton, Texas for over a decade. They also dedicated the last twenty years of their twenty-one year married life to mentoring couples and young adults through the twists and turns of life. The Peterson’s are excited about all God has waiting for them in this next venture. 

Willie Jr. and Callie make their home in Lake Dallas. Willie Jr. is a native Texan and a proud Desert Storm Veteran. Callie, hails from Ohio but now calls Texas her home. They have 3 adult children and 1 perfect grandchild, Augustus.
